Frequently Asked Questions
What does "Aloha Uhane" mean?
Aloha Uhane translates to “Spirit of Aloha” or “Soul Love.” It represents the philosophy of living with compassion, kindness, a joyful heart and respecting the divine spirit within ourselves and others, and practicing mindfulness rooted in Hawaiian wisdom.
What is the mission of the Aloha Uhane community?
Our mission is to create a “piko” (center) for individuals seeking to live with more intention, spirit, and connection. We aim to bridge ancient Hawaiian wisdom with modern lifestyle practices to help our members find peace and purpose in a digital world
What are the core values of Aloha Uhane?
We live by three guiding principles:
- Aloha: Compassion and love in every interaction.
- Malama: Caring for one another and our environment.
- Kuleana: Taking personal responsibility for our growth and our impact on the world.
Is this community only for people living in Hawaii?
Not at all! While our roots are in the islands, Aloha is universal. Aloha Uhane is a global gathering place for anyone, anywhere, who resonates with the values of kindness, stewardship of the earth, and spiritual growth.
How can I get involved in the community?
The best way to start is by joining our free community forum [Link Coming Soon]. You can participate in discussion threads, join our monthly “Talk Story” circles, and contribute your own insights and experiences.
Are there any costs associated with joining?
Joining our general community and newsletter is completely free. We believe the Spirit of Aloha should be accessible to everyone. In the future, we may offer “Deep Dive” workshops or premium circles that require a fee to support our facilitators.
Why aren't you selling products yet?
We believe in connection before commerce. Our current focus is on nurturing a space where people feel seen and heard. While we are carefully developing a line of tools and goods to support your journey, we want to ensure they truly serve the needs of our community first.
How can I contribute or share my story?
We love hearing from our members! If you have a story of how the Aloha spirit has touched your life, or if you have a special skill you’d like to share with the group, please reach out to through our community forum [Link Coming Soon].
How do you handle disagreements within the community?
To keep our space sacred, we practice Ho’oponopono (making things right). We encourage respectful dialogue and have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or “un-aloha” behavior. We are here to lift each other up.
When will the Aloha Uhane shop be available?
We are co- creating our future offerings with you! By being part of the community now, you’ll have the opportunity to vote on product designs and receive “Early Bird” access when our inaugural collection launches.
